To enroll your child in swim lessons, sign up online or give us a call. We recommend a minimum of twice a week for optimal learning, and we provide a wide range of class times and days to fit your schedule.

Of course not! Tuition will be prorated.

Lessons at Arkansas Swim Academy run indefinitely until you choose to withdraw. We would love to see your children graduate through our levels and move on to Swim Team Prep. If you would like to give up your reserved lesson day / time, please complete our Withdrawal Form by the 15th of the month. The withdrawal form can be found on our website or a copy obtained from the front desk.

If you know in advance that your child will be out for an extended period of time we are unable to put a hold on your account. If you need to give up your space and know when you would like to return, please contact us and we will update you with current lesson availability.  Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the same swim schedule or instructor when you are ready to return, but we will do our best to accommodate you.

No. You are able to withdraw your child for the following month by giving us notice by the 15th. For example, notify us by March 15th to withdraw for the month of April.

A swimsuit, see diaper policy for children under 3 and for those older that are not potty trained, a towel, and goggles. That’s it! We have a selection of Happy Nappy reusable swim diapers and goggles if you need to purchase them.

All children under the age of 3, or children that are not potty-trained, must use a “double layer system” of swim diapers. We require that the outer layer be the  New & Improved Happy Nappy reusable swim diaper. We offer the New & Improved Happy Nappy reusable swim diapers in our store and online for purchase if needed. We strictly enforce that all children in any Baby Turtle level must be wearing the New & Improved Happy Nappy reusable swim diaper. The reusable swim diaper must pass the two-finger test (if 2 fingers can be inserted under the elastic in the legs and waist, the swim diaper is too large, and the child will not be permitted to enter the water). Disposable diapers alone do not pass the Board of Health Code for public pools. However, disposable diapers are acceptable as the first layer of protection with a Happy Nappy swim diaper over it. Accidents happen, even if your child is fully potty-trained. The use of reusable swim diapers is an industry standard. Arkansas Swim Academy is committed to maintaining the health and safety of all students, parents, and instructors.

Most likely. We will of course do everything we can to find a new spot that works for you.

Signing up for a lesson reserves the time of our instructors and facility space. Your child is occupying a spot that another child cannot fill even if you were to schedule time off in advance.

We do not close the pool during lightning storms unless the power goes out. If there is a potty accident in the pool, we will stop classes until the pool is sanitized. If your child’s lesson is cancelled by Arkansas Swim Academy due to these reasons a makeup lesson will be credited to your account.

Photos and videos are occasionally taken at Arkansas Swim Academy and are used for Arkansas Swim Academy’s publicity purposes and on social media such as Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. When you agree to the parent policies, you are agreeing that your child’s image may be used for these purposes. Please notify Arkansas Swim Academy in writing if you would not like your child’s photo or video used. We cannot prevent other parents from taking or posting photographs that may include your children.

Please visit the Make-Up & Absences page for details.

No. We will not follow the school districts, but will make an independent determination as to the need for closing. In the event we need to close quickly, a notification of such closure may be made via email or text message.

At Arkansas Swim Academy all of the teachers and staff have been through an extensive training and hiring process. All swim teachers are qualified to teach each level at Arkansas Swim Academy. No matter who your child’s teacher is, he or she will be in good hands!

Yes, our facility is equipped with individual changing cabanas for families and long diaper changing tables for infants and toddlers.

Yes. There are showers on the pool deck for the children to use before and after lessons. Arkansas Swim Academy also has a private shower in the bathroom area.

We feel the child/instructor bond is very important to your child’s ability to retain information and excel which is why we prioritize consistency when we schedule our instructors. There may be circumstances which require new instructors to step in but we always attempt to make substitutions as infrequent as possible.

Payments will also be processed monthly the same as with our group lessons.
